The service
Simple Vid assembles photo and video files into a slideshow MP4. By using Simple Vid, you agree to these terms. The service is provided by Brett Michaelis, a sole proprietor.
Your content
You own everything you upload. By uploading, you grant Simple Vid a limited license to store and process your files solely to deliver the service. We do not claim any ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond fulfilling your render requests.
You are responsible for having the right to upload and use any content you submit, including audio tracks. Simple Vid does not verify copyright on uploaded files.
Acceptable use
You may not use Simple Vid to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to access another user’s project or data.
- Abuse the render pipeline (automated mass submissions, resource exhaustion attacks, etc.).
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Beta service
Simple Vid is in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change. The service is provided “as is” without warranty. We make no guarantees about uptime, render quality, or data retention.
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your uploaded content, but you should keep your own copies of any files that matter to you.
Limitation of liability
Simple Vid is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability in any dispute is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months.
Termination
You can stop using Simple Vid at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of Simple Vid after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
